MarketSim Desktop
Historical Market Replay, Trading Simulation & Analysis Terminal
MarketSim is a standalone desktop program for Windows designed for practicing stock trading. It lets you replay past market days candle-by-candle, test strategies with simulated orders, and review your performance in an automated trade journal—all stored locally on your PC.
Point-in-Time Scanners
Search and filter stocks on any past trading day based on morning price gaps, daily volume, and relative volume (RVOL) exactly as they appeared on that day.
Historical Market Replay
Step through past 1-minute market data forward and backward with your keyboard arrow keys, allowing you to practice reading price action at your own pace.
Trading Simulation
Place simulated buy and sell orders with integrated Stop Loss and Take Profit levels. Position sizes are calculated automatically based on your chosen risk amount.
Trade Journal
Every simulated trade is saved automatically on your machine. You can jump back to any previous trade to review the exact chart layout and indicators you had open at entry.
Strategy Analysis
Evaluate your results across different technical indicators (such as VWAP, moving averages, and RSI) to see which trade setups worked best and where mistakes occurred.
